Hello, I want to communicate with a heating device from Shini by modbus RTU RS485 I do not have much experience with communication protocols. The modbus communication itself works fine, i see the led's RX TX blinking so there is trafic to and from the device (when i pull out the db9 the RX-led stops blinking) So far so good. I want to change the setpoint value with the modbus connection. I have a manual from the supplier of the device that explanes he protocol. I tried several things but the setpoint dus not change. I'm not sure of my data block format. Can somewone give me a hint? Find attached some information from the supplier (not possible to send more then 1 attachment?). PS. the first byte is the adress ( set to '01') Thanks in advance. Erk AttachmentShiniDeviceProtocol.xlsx (672 Downloads) |

Hi Duris, I make a zip with several.screenshots and also the full pdf with the instruction. With the send signal : 0106012D00C8F3 you normaly can change the setpointvalue of the temperature of the shini-device. (see documents in the zip) I only changed the first byte to 01 instead of 11 (01 is the address of the device i'm using) If you need anymore data just ask. Thanks, Erik AttachmentShiniDeviceProtocol1.zip (632 Downloads) |
