Important hint: with no good knowledge about your Modbus protocol task is simply impossible to continue next work and help with teach here is run on long distance. I recommend for first improve knowledge here www.simplymodbus.ca and then you can go further. Sry but I can't help you with any Office documents due security so I expect you can do some screenshots, ZIP them and write some better description what you want to do. here is simply also question, why you selected BYTE buffer structure?

I see one very big missunderstanding here. Your buffer isn't typical send buffer with protocol set but only data storage for next data processing. Look pls to your MASTER block help. Your buffer/storage doessn't need include pure protocol byte sequence as protocol define but data to send/receive to/from Slave/s due read/write procedure set via MODE parameter. So your byte data storage is completelly wrong, therefore I asked you why byte data type in your block. I recommend again read help also to MASTER block and read all description there. Your DATA_PTR storage can be set directly only with expected data to change no protocol pure byte sequence. This is your correct procedure. Simply said, you need set correct expected data to proceed inside your storage with correct format and MASTER block will do all business for you internally, also change all to Modbus RTU protocol . No need build that protocol for yourself. In case you want build your own Modbus protocol, different blocks are used, logically.

Next important thing why I recommended to you improve your Modbus protocol knowledge is that inside your documentation also Modbus ASCII protocol is mentioned so be careful here, Modbus ASCII isn't supported here but only Modbus RTU. In this case you need do correct cfg settings on your Slave device in this case but this is your task and you need to know what you need to do, so in case of problems call device manufacturer how to do this.
