I'm using s7-1214c with version V4.4, Microsoft SQL server 2019 and Microsoft SQL Tools 18. In the firewall I created the rule for TCP port 1433 and the custom rule for the SQL service. In SQL Server Configuration Manager I enabled TCP/IP and in the properties I put the IP address of my Ethernet network, empty TCP dynamic Port and TCP Port 1433. In Tia I put the data as in the figure. Keep giving me the error. Thanks for helping me. |

What kind of server are you using, is this an existing server in a company network or a stand alone test server? In case of an existing sql server: check the port 1433 is not being used by other services like ms outlook etc.. If it does not work on an existing server you can always trouble shoot on a test environment with MS sql. Might be somthing with the recieve array of the script.

Was this ever fixed? I have the same poblem. Works from ssms on a pc but dosen't work from plc |
