Sinumerik 802s issue

marcos6565 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello, I’m having trouble with a Sinumerik 802S controller connected to a zk7040 mill. A while ago the system was reset due to some electrical problems and now the controller display only shows the X, Z and RS axes, not the Y one, as if it were in turner mode now. We have already tried to restart the controller in default and backup mode to no avail. We were told to change the startup-data, parameters and PLC data from a PC, but whenever we try to do so it says: “RS232 already in use: PG-communication” and doesn’t allow us to change any data. What should we do? Do we need the 802S toolbox to install the milling software again? Or is there any way to solve the already in use issue? Thanks.
