have set hardware type correctly.

have no success, cannot establish connection

document ion of logo! suggest the db9 serial cable 6ED1057-1AA00-0BA0

is appropriate. 

cable works fine with an 0ba4

do I need earlier software? is it available?

Yes, you can use the cable.

You have to set the LOGO! via display in transfer mode.

That has increased my confidence.

and the attached manual is a great deal better than the copy I have.
