gleb_kislov49 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi Industry Support team, After the installation of the ProSave v18 a couple of days ago the Setup Wizard asked to restart the WIndows. After restarting mostly all of the files from desktop were dissapeared. The installation was made to the desktop folder. Now trying to recover it. Did someone have the same issue? Can you share the experience please. Thanks

Hazard_7 Bronze Member Joined: 5/30/2022 Last visit: 1/7/2026 Posts: 634 Rating: (103)	Hi gleb_kislov49, I have never observed the problem you are indicating, nor do I know anyone with that same problem, it just occurs to me: When restarting Windows you logged in with a different user and that's why the desktop appeared different. Or that there was some problem in the login and Windows itself started with a different user and therefore another desktop.

I have only one user on my pc and checked with the net_user command are there any new created, but no. I was trying to restore the files with some software which available in the market, after scanning my hard disc i got plenty of folders in folders path_not_found and name_not_found i found my pdf and images. But was not able to open them. On pdf files its written "not able to open" on images "unknown format". I did the factory reset for Windows, because it started to load everything slowly. Thats very strange.

Sounds also if you have to reinstall this system completely Bye Murof
