HI

I want to create a series startup  NC and PLC file in CF card (ATA Card)

1/ The machine is Machining Center, the card is display/Show with 980 MB  in Program Mode but when i checked in Data Out and create NC PLC backup file . Transmission Stop due to RS232 Communication error. I donot under stand why its happen, if i used to read or copy/paste a program the card is working fine.

Can any body tell me what happen, 

2. The Control is 810 D Siemems.

Please, next time provide details about your HMI system and HMI hardware, because your question primary concerns  HMI system, and only secondary CNC system.

I guess you have PCU20 with HMI Embedded.

If you try to create series startup archive - deselect "punch tape format" in transmition settings. You should use this format only for area-specific backup of all data areas except drive data.

Also I attached chapter about "Data Backup"  from Start up manual for HMI Embedded.

Finally Card and PC is working with machine and I Create a series backup NC and PLC archive successfully. After Setting acorduing manual and you instruction. 

If you try to create series startup archive - deselect "punch tape format" in transmition settings [I select here Binary Format (PC Form.)]. You should use this format only for area-specific backup of all data areas except drive data.

Also I attached chapter about "Data Backup"  from Start up manual for HMI Embedded.
