Hope everyone will be fine i have 4 pac1020 having rs485 and an odot serial to ethernet converter which I will connect to s7-1500 how can I read the values of 4 pac in tia portal.

some tips:

1. your S7-1500 will use PN/ETH port for data exchange, in this csse. Pls confirm.

2. your converter must correctly convert MB TCP to MB RTU protocol. I expect typical standard  ETH-serial converter as not functional and can't be used. You need check this carefully on your type converter documentation.

3. in this case you can use MB TCP CLIENT block (MB_CLIENT) on S7-1500 to exchange data with serial Slaves. You need differ each serial Slave also with correct formal RTU address via MB_Unit_ID parameter (set RTU address) prior data exchange with specific Slave.

4. your Slaves are then connected in RS-485 line and need have each set correct RTU address, each unique to be accessed from PLC. You need cfg this on each Slave with also same serial communication settings as speed, data bits, parity.

I recommend for first to do tests with some PC app as Modbus TCP Client (check web) connected via converter to Slaves. General TCP and serial network with also Modbus protocol knowledge is required here without doubts.
