hi all,

i have 2 identical plc and programs on the S7-1200 but the customer wants to operate has one when a certain input is made via a switch.

they each have there own HMI (comfort) and are controlled by this i.e. start/stop. i have never used the put/get command and so far i have put both plc projects into one and configured the ip's etc and enabled the put/get but how do i send the start cmd which is just a tag in the hmi to the SLAVE plc? so that this then starts the slave plc?

i am reading various bits on the put/get but they all seem to be going down the DB route and the program i am trying to modify has many DB's doing different things.

Any help on this would be gratefully recieved.
