Hello, I am using PCS7 V9.1 SP2 UC1 and noticed that on the Pcs7AnIn block the ouput PV_Out.Value displays the scale range instead the scaled input value when non 4-20mA signal types like TC, RTD, or voltage are used and NamurOff=1. When NamurOff=0 the correct scaled values show on the output. This response is different from the same block in PCS7 V9.0 SP2 where the NamurOff setting had no effect when using these signal types. I am attaching a screenshot from PCS7 V9.1 showing two Pcs7AnIn connected to the same input address to illustrate the difference. On the one block NamurOff=1 and shows the scale range on the output, on the other Namur=0 and shows the correct scaled input value. Both blocks are connected to a thermocouple input. As mentioned, in PCS7 V9.0 SP2 both blocks show the same scaled input value, irrespective of the NamurOff setting.

Can anyone explain why the block functionality is different between the two versions of PCS7?

There is not a lot of information on the change, but the 9.0 SP3 ReadMe shows a change to the NamurOff setting on page 33

Thank you for your response. The change the readme refers to applies to the incorrect scaling of the 4-20mA signal type which has been corrected. I cannot find any mention of why all the non 4-20mA signals like thermocouple, RTD, and voltage now show the scale range instead of the scaled value when NamufOff=1. I realize the Namur is only intended for 4-20mA signals, but it should not be affecting other signal types even when NamurOff is incorrectly enabled for non 4-20mA. That was how it worked in PCS7 V9.0 SP2. From PCS7 V9.0 SP3 onwards the function is different.
