paragon Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi All I have a 314 IFM module on my desk. According this website it has 16DI 16DO 4AI 1AO. When i put it into my harware config it comes up with input address 124...155 and output address 124...155 and no analoque addresses The order number is 6ES7 314-5AE10-0AB0 Am I missing something? I have not tried going online with it yet Does anybody have connection diagrams as both the doors have been lost Thanks Brian

The addresses match the wiring diagram provided in the manual yopu saw earlier. What version of Step 7 are you using? Is this a recent installation? By the way, you are right about the 314IFM being an excellent teaching tool. With the integrated functions you can use high-speed counting and incremental encoder connections you can easily show the students the basics of positioning and motion control. paragon Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi Daniel I have just found out about the history of this plc. It was hit with 220V ac through the 24V dc supply. It was repaired on site and seems to be working ok. I can go online with it and download and upload to it. I have even added expansion modules to it - order number 6ES7 322-1BH01-0AA0. These are 24V dc output modules. I wrote a small test program just to loop through all the outputs on the expansion modules and everything works well. I still can not get the onboard inputs and outputs to work. What concerns me is that when not even connected to the plc and I create a new project, Step 7 brings up the addresses as stated in my previous post. If I create a new project and upload from the plc it brings up the same addresses. I have even installed a memory card into it and I can read and write to it Any ideas? Thanks Brian
