Hi Claude, Depending on the PROFINET controllers and devices used, some features can be helpful. You can use the Shared Device feature to assign some modules to one IO-Controller and others to another. However, this does not allow two controllers to access the same module. Newer PROFINET devices also support the Module Internal Shared Input feature. This allows the module internal information to be shared with up to four IO-Controllers. In the case of ET 200SP, all interface modules except IM 155-6 PN BA support this feature. More information can be found in the FAQ "Which IO controllers and IO devices support the following functions in STEP 7 (TIA Portal): IRT, prioritized startup, MRP, MRPD, PROFIenergy, Shared device, MSI/MSO, I device, clock-synchronized mode, system redundancy and option handling?".
