Howdy,

I am having an issue with our Profibus. In our program, Node #3 is our DP Coupler, and Node #24 is a plastic welding sub-unit. When the comm error occurs, it turns off the heats to our welder unit, which causes product scrap.

When the error occurs, we get the following error messages on our HMI and in the Hardware Diagnostics.

Troubleshooting Conducted:

1. Replaced both Profibus cables to and from Node #24

2. Replaced DP Coupler (twice)

3. Isolated Profibus cables from power supplies and other sensors

4. Secured shielding on each connection
