Hi all,

I just watched a video on using the HMI to diagnose ASI errors. I have tried looking for said info to download but having a hard time finding the download needed. 

Or is there a better way to show errors in an ASI system using some other methods. Hardware is a s7-1200 for now.

 Hi, yeah a link would have helped sorry. I will add here and in first post. 

All I am after is when a module is unplugged an error either on the HMI or preferably in the project is shown.

Hello Robinson;

It would be much easier fir us to understand the diagnostic block you are refering to, if you gave us the link to your video file. We need to know whether this is a Siemens standard AS-i block ir a programmer-generated diagnostic block.

 Google is a powerfull tool to find information with. Here's an example for you, to find what you are looking for. Type the following to google search:

site:siemens.com as-i diagnostics

The first search result you will see, is what you need.

 Thanks, never thought of that, sadly that is for a 1500 series with 200SP and doesnt seem to cross over to 1200.

 Then add 1200 to the search parameters, and the first search result suits 1200 series PLC.
