Solved Logging alarms from PLC

AutoGen_4700768 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hey, I’m having trouble logging my PLC (1515-2 PN) alarms on MTP1900 unified comfort panel. I have 2 logs running. One for maintenance events that the users can manually input and one for general alarms. For the life of me I just can’t get the alarms from PLC to write into the log (checked the log file and no alarms were written). The maintenance events write just fine but the difference is that those are written as HMI alarms. The alarms from PLC show in the alarm view just fine when they are active, but trying to view logged alarms just shows a blank page (which I guess makes sense since the log file doesn’t have any events written into it). I suppose as a workaround I could make a HMI alarm of each of the PLC alarms but I’m not too keen on this idea since there’s A LOT of alarms on the PLC list. Please (pretty one with sugar on top) someone tell me there’s a setting I’m missing which allows the PLC alarms to be logged. PS. Working with WinCC UA professional v17 update 3
