I've been looking for information about the question you ask. As far as I could see, the application example below "Connecting an S7-1200 CPU / S7-1500 CPU to an SQL database" was created and tested together with a Microsoft SQL Server. Theoretically, there is nothing wrong with using it with another database if the connection is based on Open User Communication and the TDS protocol. If the example is used with another database, o indicates what changes would be necessary to establish the connection, for example, to Oracle. And there are no examples or information in SIOS for communication between the controllers of the S& 1200 family and Oracle. On the other hand, I have also been able to find this link to the forum where communication between PLCs and the Oracle database is discussed, where you can still get some information: "Communiction ORACLE with PLC" I hope this information can be of some use to you. Best regards! |
