Troubles to download the configuration from a PCS7 ES/OS to an OS

I'm having some troubles trying to download the configuration from a PCS7 ES/OS (SIMATIC RACK PC) to an OS (SIMATIC BOX PC) I can ping between them over TerminalBUS an also do a remote desktop sesion between them so that means that the network is ok and working (I think) I've already deactivate all the firewall protections Nevetheless I got this error while trying to download the configuration from the netpro, and also from the HW config I already import the .xdb file to configure the station (trough a windows network shared folder [The station configurator editor is online mode already]) What else can I do ? Jazz_M Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi From the screen shot you have shared, You seem to have WinCC application in both ES and OS PC station? Am i correct. You need to have WinCC reference and take the ES - Wincc as reference. If you do this you can have the changes in ES -winCC and download the changes to OS wincc any time sitting on the ES system. then you can compile the OS PC from ES system. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Below short cut, is not the recommended way..... In your case, You have successfully imported the XDB file, Then copy the WinCC project from ES and paste it in OS system, open the winCC project, You will have to change the PC name and then put it on runtime.....It should work. Hope this helps.....

In addition to the FAQ if you can't find the entry SIMATIC Shell in the Windows Explorer you have to edit the "View > Navigation Plane > Show all folders". I mean we are using just two computers, one as ES/OS single station and another one as OS single station so we know we're not gonna be able to directly update from ES/OS the .pdls we modify or change and we're gonna need to copy paste them Why we're using this architecture?... client desition; (I dont know why) Update from my problem... I've already download from "PLC->Download" So next I need to do It's to mirroring the OS... anyone have some suggestion about that ? BTW... the problem where solved changing the configuration of both TerminalBUS adaptar without the SIMATIC Shell but whitin the SIMATIC MANAGER > HWConfig Thanks to all of you for your advices
