JookJoala Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi I'm learning simens systems and I have a project in mind where I want to display a webpage on hmi. Im using KPT700 basic. Idea was to put html browser on the screen, download it to hmi, and then plug in the ethernet cable. But it does not seem to work. I tried to configure my network but have not been able to get it to work. It works fine when I'm simulating this in tia. I have Sm@artServer enabled. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any other options?

Generation 2- Does it work in simulation? 3- Capture the error that appears on the panel 4- Exact version of TIA PORTAL and panel image version?

JookJoala Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I read somewhere on this forum that plugging an ethernet cable into hmi works. 1. The video shows how to access hmtl on a usb stick. For my project it would be better if I could access the html over ethernet. 2. It works in simulation. HMI has html browser that is able to access the internet without any configurations. 3. Hmlt browser error: The requested page (https://google.com/) could not be found. Error code: 3. when I plug the ethernet cable into it I get the same system event: No. 140001 - Connection disconnected: HMI_Connection_1, Station 192.168.0.1, Rack 0, Slot 1. 4.Tia 15.1, KPT700 Basic PN 6AV2 123-2GB03-0AX0 15.1.0.0

Has that router (?) been configured in such a way that the IP address of the HMI is in the required subnet range. The alternative is to not have the HMI set to a fixed IP address but have it automatically chosen for you. But again the router should accept the connection from the HMI. ..or at least so is my guessing.

Its because the simulation uses the WinCC Advanced RT and also not the webbrowsercontrol from the basic panel. so it could be that if you use sommething special in the website it could be shown in simulatino but not 100% the same in Panel HW. JookJoala Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	TIA V15.1 V15.01.00.00_28.01.00.01 WinCC runtime advanced has the same release. I'm using the same cable that gives my pc internet access form the router. The network is configured to have the correct subnet range. I have tried DHCP ON on the HMI and IP address is set directly at the device. Still nothing. I tried to do a new to a new connection for the HMI to an Additional Ethernet device in Network view but nothing happens... Currently, I'm just trying to open https://www.google.com/

(try to ping google with your pc and then you can see the ip address-> try to access the website with this ip) Bye Murof
