ET200SP configuration with Redundant CPU 410-5H .

desertfoxx Bronze Member Joined: 3/13/2014 Last visit: 12/14/2025 Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	Greetings, We are discussing with my colleagues whether a configuration like the following is possible -System is PCS7 9.1 and Redundant CPU 410-5H is chosen as Controller. -IOs will be distributed to 5 different Remote IO stations and ET200SP(not HA) will be used for Remote IO stations. IM 155-6 PN ST(6ES7155-6AU01-0BN0) will be interface module for these Remote IO Stations. -There will be a fiber ring between Controller and Remote IO stations There are 4 different Profinet System Redundancy(S1-S2-R1-R2). Which of these 4 different configurations can we provide with the hardware we will use above? Thank you.

There are 4 different Profinet System Redundancy(S1-S2-R1-R2). Which of these 4 different configurations can we provide with the hardware we will use above? S1 is the short answer as that it all that's supported by the IM 155-6 PN ST. If you'd go for a IM 155-6 PN HF, you can achieve S2 (and the HA will allow you to go for R1).
