I have this problem:

Step7 V5.6 + SP2 and Windows 10

If i try to open a watch table in a project S7 i have the error "an internal OLE error occured" and i can't open the watch table

If i open other types of blocks (FC, FB, OB etc..) i have no problems

I have the same problem with all the projects.

Until a few days ago i had no problems.

I have already tried to reinstall Step7 but i had not solved the problem

Hi,

there is hotfix 9 available for 5.6 SP2, maybe it is worth a try.

Download Hotfix 9 STEP 7 V5.6 SP2 / STEP 7 Professional 2017 SR2

I also tried to install new Step7 V5.7 without solve the problem.

thanks, i read the document but not solved

I saw i have the problem only if i double click on "Variable Table Icon" 

If i open menu "PLC-->Monitor/Modify variables" and then i open the "Variable Table" it runs

Have you found a solution to the problem in the meantime? I have exactly the same problem. If I start Step7 under Admin, the problem does not occur.

Means, installed the latest servicepack/hotfixes?

Which version is used exactly?

Hello sancruz, 

All solutions suggested in this topic have already been tested without success until now. The only thing that helps is to start Step7 as an admin user. I am currently using Step7 V5.6+SP2+HF3 under Windows 10 (22H2). I hope, you have any solution for me.
