Hi, Yes, there is. See the following: Multi-user engineering It may be somehow different from TIA portal, but in PCS7 there are two possibilities: - Multi-user engineering - Multi-project engineering Multi-user means that the project is located in a ES server (I say server because it's needs a Windows Server operating system with enough processor power and RAM memory), where other ES clients can connect to. It is thus possible to work with several engineers in one project. There are requirements such as that AS/OS compiles are started on the ES server and not on a ES client because its slower because of the network connection between the stations. Multi-project means that an engineer can check out a AS project for example, edit and place back in the multiproject. With all this, you can also enable OS multi-engineering which means that on each ES station, you can edit OS pictures and such (via WinCC Explorer). |
