I am using CPU 1211C DC/DC/Rly with CM1241 RS232 Comm. module. V2.0 and TIA 15.

I have to receive the given weight from a scale. the cable has only rx / tx and GND

If the transmission is done manually by pressing the print button on the device, I have no problems, but if the transmission is continuous, the buffer flows one position at each transmission.

This is my code:

Split from RCV_PTP and shifted buffer.

I'm using CPU1214C DC/DC/DC and I'm kinda new to siemens. The thing is I have the same issue. Buffer is shifting. Can you provide any other solution?. Because I checked all parameters, all are same for both devices, yet I'm facing this issue. Can you help me with this

Hello,

problem can be not correctly defined times for receive of message in CM HW cfg. In most cases I don't recommend use of start/stop characters because location of requested char can be anywhere in message. You need set correctly due selected comm speed define intercharacter time, not message timeout. In case of continues receiving message from weigh device, this can be your problem. Next implementation you must do with correct set/check of RECV input/output parameters.
