Hi jamalvmb, Here you can find the detailed limitation of the TP700 Comfort panel regarding the logs and the amount of data you can store. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/49313233/137451394187 As you can see, 20k entries per log are allowed, therefore I would say that the storage the you need depends on how many logs and entries will you store and of course the data type of each tag stored. Hope it helps. Br, Cocolino |

Hello jamalvmb Yes this is true. Comfort Panels are not made for big logging data. It can handle only a smaller amount of logging values per log (20000 as already suggested) If you want to store a long time archive perhaps this one could be an option (but its only a very complicated workaround): https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109477071 Also You can see in the editor in TIA how Big a logfile would be maximum: with 20000 entires its Maximum size: 1954 KB, so limit of logs is 50 -> you will only nee about 100MB, so SD Card would make no difference to a USP Pen, the limitation is not the storage device, its the performance of the HMI to handle logging data (PC Runtime HMIs will reach much more logging data) Bye Murof |
