Connection between Citect, TIA V16 and PLCSIM Advanced

BSimmonds Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I'm trying to do a similar thing, with Citect, TIA v16 and PLCSIM Advanced. I have Citect and TIA on different VMs and PLCSIM Advanced on a different computer. I have downloaded the PLC code to PLCSIM Advanced and I can ping the correct addresses from both VMs, but Citect still can't seem to connect to it. My Citect is connecting via S7TCP and is looking at the correct IP addresses. Is there a specific process you follow to connect all together? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Connect via TCP/IP the Scada and PLCSIM.

(OPC UA or TCP IP S7 communication, ModbusTCP?) (If you use classic PLC Connection on a S71200/1500 then have a look at Security settings and enable PUtGet communication and work for testing with a non optimized DB) Bye Murof
