I can't communicate with the plc s7. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Atlas Copco _Modbus _CPU S7300.

The previous discussion states that Atlas Copco did not support Modbus when the comments were written. Unless you have evidence, like Atlas Copco Modbus documentation, that shows that Atlas Copco supports Modbus on the specific compressor you're dealing with, then the answer continues to be "no, Modbus is not supported".

If you have enought experience, you can write your own library for Master or Client in the PLC. Modbus RTU is well documented and can find many example of source code easilly rewritable in SCL. Usually only the MB functions 3 and 16 are real need. The main limits will be the maximum number of client connected to the same master: most of the devices baud rate is limited to 19200 and including the modbus RTU protocol rules, it's hard to communicate with more than 5 or 6 devices.

Library included. Only one important thing is that you need buy all required items so in case you don't have that intentions (to buy) then your procedure with own driver or Qwazee's free NO DONGLE solution is expected.
