Is it possible to manually specify the IP address of the V90PN I want connect to?

I'm commissioning a machine that will be shipped abroad, so I will have to connect through VPN connection.

I'm afraid that this won't work with V-Assistant. 

Please help

I'm not using V90PN integrated in tia portal. I'm using the generic GSDML. 

V-Assistant does support Ethernet. I'm connected right now locally with ethernet. 

Can I connect to the V90 with V-Assistant via remote connection (VPN) ?

I've made some tests and V-Assistant with standard VPN (OpenVPN) is NOT working.

If I insert a V90PN into Tia Portal via TO then I'm able to connect, but I can't access the parameters because the drive is not configured to be used with a TO.

I'm trying to establish a Layer 2 VPN connection to see if it's possible to force V-Assistant to scan mac addresses on remote site

Not possible with VPN, you can use anydesk software to access the parameter from other devices.
