patel Posts: 134 Rating: (2)	Dear i want to use CSM 1277 SWITCH 6GK7277-1AA10-0AA0 in my project...but i could not find it in hardware catalog... i have TIA V11 STEP7 PROFESSIONAL SP2 UPDATE 4 installed...CPU IS 1244 C V 3.0.. Do i need to update my sftware...if yes then where i find it..

Do i need to update my sftware...if yes then where i find it.. In the project, select TOPOLOGY VIEW from devices & networks in project tree. My experience is this is the only place this switch becomes visible and available to drag into your project. It is an unmanaged switch without configuration settings, so adding to your project does not really add value to the end result.
