Connection to the wrong PROFIBUS node

All station in the line, has own PROFIBUS network,where the CPU has address 2. Every stations has a CP342-5 card what is connected to the line network. So for example on station 10 we have the CP card with address 20 on the line network and the CPU has address 2 on the station network. Our problem is, when I'm connecting to the line network, and go online to a station, it is always connection to the first station CPU. What we did wrong? Access to the CPUs is dependant on the MPI addtess. If a single MPI address is attributed to the CPUs, connexions will all try to connect to the closest CPU with that address. See this extract from the Programming with Step 7 system manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/45531107 Solution: go back to your HWConfig editor, change the MPI and Profibus addresses in your project si they are unique to each CPU. Save, compile and download the modified hardware configration for each CPU. Then you should have access to each CPU individually. When I select the MPI/PROFIBUS addres in HW config, I can select the subnet for this too. In this case also a problem, that we've tha same MPI and PROFIBUS address everywhere? Thanks? We plug back the old PC , and voiala, all CPU can be reachable. But from my laptop, and from the new engineer pc, we can reach just few of them, some otherher link to sation 01.
