Multipe s7/logo connections to TP2200 Comfort

JorisMullenders Regular Member Joined: 4/21/2016 Last visit: 2/10/2025 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello, i have a problem that our hmi says connected and disconnected multiple times beacause of to many connection to the hmi (max 8 connections i have read.) is it possible to make this work / upgrade something to make this work? we want to connect: 1x s7 1500 10x s7 1200 15x Siemens LOGO to one hmi (tTP2200 comfort), each plc/logo is for a different control box in our swimmingpool filter / lightning system. greetings, Joris

Perhaps what you can do is connect 8 devices to the panel and the rest of the devices that are connected and exchanging data with another PLC

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 16612 Rating: (1943)	Hello JorisMullenders I see also no chance with a direct connection with WinCC Comfort/Advanced to this amount of PLCs. you could use a Simatic Net OPC UA Server that handles the connections to all the PLCs and with HMi you only have one OPC connection but this is a kind of indirection and not a optimum solution. With a HMI SCADA System there are more connections possible but this would be too expensive and a bit to overload. A small S71500 (because of number of connections) as Datacollector would be a proper solution Bye Murof
