TIA V18 and PLCSIM V18 - Download Connection Fail

smcuser Experienced Member Joined: 7/6/2007 Last visit: 10/30/2025 Posts: 102 Rating: (2)	I am looking for assistance with the following: - I have a TIA (V18 Upd2) project and am trying to simulate it in PLCSIM (V18 Sp1 Upd1). The simulated instance is created automatically in PLCSIM and TIA can detect it's on-line presence. When an attempt is made to download from TIA -> simulated instance the following error message is returned: - ' Connection failed. The selected online target could not be reached' The PG/PC Interface 'access point' is set to the PLCSIM virtual ethernet adapter. See attached image for the information.
