Update to Softcomfort 8.3.1

I have a project created in version 8.3.0 which uses both operating hours counter and annual time switch function. These blocks are mentioned as improved in the release notes 8.3.1. For that change is it sufficient to open the project in the new version and save it or should I replace the affected blocks by the new ones or is it given only by the Logo firmware itself so it has to use the latest one (V1.83.02)?
