Hi, 

I purchased Siemens LOGO! 24 CE 0BA8 6ED1052-1CC01-0 with software LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 6ED1058-0B in April 2015. I have purchased a license from 2015.

I have been running the software on my older Mac without any problems. Since 2 years back I have updated my Mac to a newer version as the older one can not be started any longer. I am currently using latest OS Sonoma.

I have tried to install the upgrades and full packages without success, it does not work in Sonoma and also the previous OS. I download it without Java and expand it by Stuffit Expander. I have allowed the installation in security settings as its blocked from running at start, so that's not the issue.

Once trying to run the Setup it say " Setup can not be opened".

Would appreciate any help, thanks

Its solved! I jumped in to this post https://support.industry.siemens.com/forum/ww/en/posts/upgrade-logo-confort-8-3-on-mac/276443/?page=0&pageSize=10#post1089601 and user Oblimo solved it by using another unpacking software. Seems that Stuffit Expander is not working.
