CPU-CPU communication via IO Device does not work with scalance switch

GioCap1972 Joined: 5/22/2023 Last visit: 11/7/2025 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I have a SINGLE Tia Portal V18 project in which I inserted two S7-1513 CPUs that communicate with each other in IO Device. CPU 1 is the IO controller. Now, if I connect the two CPUs using the ports present on the two CPUs (from port X1P1 of CPU1 to port X1P1 of CPU2) the communication works correctly. However, if I connect the two CPUs to a Scalance XC208 switch, I can ping the CPUs, see all the nodes, go online with all the nodes, but the IO Device communication is not established. Surely the problem is in the scalance configuration, but I have no idea what to look for. The scalance ports are all enabled, since if I connect with the PC to any port I can go online and see all the nodes. Any suggestions? thanks everyone
