Hello everybody,

I am doing an installation of a new system with a S7-1215C and a pneumatic island Festo CTEU-PN on TIA V18. When I load the program to the PLC and I go online, I have an issue on the pneumatic. The FW of my GSDML file is 2.1 and the FW physically in the pneumatic island is 2.2...

I do not find the V2.2 gsdml file from Festo...

I already did it on TIA V15.1 and all was ok. I can't confirm that the FW could be different because all worked on the system...


Do you have any idea of where I could have done a mistake ?

 Siemens does not own the GSDML files. Contact Festo and ask them for clarity on the situation.

I see there v2.34 what can be used without problems in my opinion, if it is your exact HW type.

I recommend check that GSDML file inside. there are SW versions depended to device type so you can maybe easy check what types are there and what exactly type you have. Simply TIA recognize this clearly in my opinion. If you have any doubt or maybe that TIA bug is there, contact Support for sure. I see that SW version 2.2.1 here:

I don't know if this is relevant but I expect simply that TIA see that differencies.

yes no problem. This kind of errors shows mostly with wrong cfg so it is expected as I said to check all types what are inside HW cfg and actually real components attached. More good tips can point to some future good idea about where the problem is. Glad you have success...
