Dear all, I am modifying a program (made by a client), for S7-1516-F3PN/DP, tia portal V15.1. It uses TRCV in order to receive answers from a printer, over TCP, AD-hoc The CPU is configured with 16#100 permanent stablished connection (I mean, it do not use TCON) In the block, EN_R is always ON and no management of Error / busy /status is. So, In test enviroment, same CPU, I am changing the program, including the FB that contains this TRCV instance After several FB uploadings, sometimes I receive the infamous error 16#80C3, I only solve it stopping the CPU. I don't solve nothing if I turn off the EN_R input of TRCV. My questions are: Dear @0_Einstein, can you detail your "Band-Aid" more precisely? Is there any example of how to manage the EN_R? Is it correct to maintain it always ON? Thanks in advance! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

it looks like this problem has been around for a few years without a solution for static connections being found. |
