Where can I look for the maximum number of HMI's that I can connect to one PLC on one single project?

I am planning to use TIA Portal 16 and a 1500 series PLC, and connect 10 HMI's to that one PLC. Does it depend on the PLC/HMI firmware?

Some mentioned that we can also use the dynamic memory, even if it shows the Max HMI Reserved is 4 (in the manual it says max HMI connections 10 for some 1500 series), but the post wasn't closed with an answer.

Is this true?

Have a look at the resources available in the connection resources given in the hardware configuration. The PLC family, CPU and firmware version influences what is available. See the picture. Viewing the information while online, will give an indication on how many connections are actually in use.

The BASIC HMI takes up 1 resource unit while other panels take up 2 resources. Scada systems take up 4 resource units (AFAIK).
