How connect to the CIP server on the Siemens PLC?

HI, Do you know how the AB programmer configured his side to connect to the CIP server on the Siemens PLC? I've been searching for an example showing the setup on the AB side but no luck. Regards, Angel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, just one general basic tip. You r description doesn't show what exactly procedure has problem. Conenction as is? Parameter configurations? In my shoes, I try for first to do simple connection test from any TCP Client PC app because I expect simple connection description as TCP transport. Server has specific IP (as controller) and also Port value so if connection can be established then problem can be in next parameters probably. If you can't do basic first connection to Server then problem is more depended to connection procedure so you waste time with any class or other things maybe. Documentation/Manual from this link is useful to solve something? CIP functionality on S7-1500 PLC as Client and Server Look at attachment also. |
