Can you give us a sample how to create script if a property is changed?

Maybe I don't understand correctly how supposed to work, but I expect if the property is changed, my script to be executed. I tried with a simple Tag to set but isn't work.

Maybe I do it something wrong but in this case, I expect when I click on my on my object to change the property and to set my tag.

Please help me.

Thank you for your fast response. I know your example because I checked before I post my question.

I understood that the in your example if you move the slider the value of "HMITag_1" is changing and this is also the TRIGGER of the script.

The difference what I don't really understand is, that in my case what is the TRIGGER. I still try to use the "OnPropertyChanged" function (without success). So this is why I want to understand how supposed to be triggered those scripts.

First of all, thank you for your hints.

I am starting now to work with Unified panels, and I want to see what is possible to do with scripting. I see some good examples here and on YouTube, but I don't found any example how to write a script for OnPropertyChanged event.

I even not understand the mechanism behind this (I can use the syntax "CurrentParameterSetID.Value" or the read method like "CurrentParameterSetID.Read()")

For concrete example:

I created a Parameter set control object on my screen. I would like to set a Tag in case that the value of my property "CurrentParameterSetID" is changed (in other words the operator is selecting a recipe).

I modified my script to be without "return value" but still not work.

Hi GabyT,

An OnPropertyChanged event does not allow a return value. You should also be aware of using a return statement, which will abort the function upon execution.

It may be easier for us volunteers to know your requirements, so please tell us more about your goals.

With TraceViewer I was able to find the issue. The problem was with the Uncaught reference, I mean I try to write "TRUE" in my Boolean Tag. After I changed t integer everything was fine,

Also with boolean would be ok if I write "1" instead of "TRUE"
