I have problem with View of things. When I login on Vot pages, browser show message: "Invalid tagname: tag.name", when "runtime" closes and return to login page.

I use Tia portal V17 update 6 and PLC sim advanced V5 Update1. I have tried to configure many different CPU, but that does'nt solve proble.

I am sure that tagnames are correct. I use detailed view and drag and drop tag to application.

I found post about problem that some PLC FW may give that message if tag name contains UTF-8 characters, but my tag names doesnt contain any special characters.

I have tried to compile HW, SW and VoT as Rebuild all. I tried to create plc tags on M-area, but result was same and tried to create different type of tags, but won't help either.

I had a typo on first post. When I login to application, it shows that "invalid tag" message immediately and in 5 seconds "Runtime" closes and screen returns to login screen. If I delete tag that appears on message, then another tag name is shown on message.

Also I tried to create another TIA project and noticed that when I drag and drop tag from detailed view, on first project tagname appeared as "dbName".variableName and on another project tagname was "dbName.variableName". Quatation marks changed place. On first project my computer language was finnish and on latter one computer language was english. Tia Project language was english on both cases.

I managed to solve this problem; if I give web user right for Filebrowser access , tags on VoT starts to work fine. If I turn rights off, VoT won't work.

I do not have anything that reads or writes from/to file system. Could this be related to PLCsim Advanced?

I missed only one step from example. I didn't installed PLC's web server certificate as trusted root certificate on my computer. I don't think that is problem. On my test application there were only one iofield and one button.

Solution was quite clear. I added file system rights to user and VoT application worked. I took those rights off and application didn't worked.
I don't have real CPU for test, but i think this problem is related to PLCsim advanced.
