I have two problems using TSEND_C, TRCV_C  in communication.

one thing, when I use that function the array of data is change, (switched?)

something that I set parameter wrong?

How I do exchange receiving data with sending data identically?(Split? and exchange? need some advice)

The other thing, I removed all the function, and all the block. and then remake the function becase of the problem I mentioned. Then TRCV_C occurs error 16#803C. I changed both ID form 1 to 4, It still happens. still not receiving data.

I have tried using both TSEND_C and TRCV_C in S7-1500 PLC to a Ascii simulator Hercules Utility (freeware). It works well. These 2 comm blocks are compact with the _C behind. Meaning it incorporate the TCON block within itself. When configuring these 2 instructions (TSEND_C,TRCV_C), the connection for each block is independent. Meaning you need to assign 2 different connection IDs. 2 ethernet connections are created.

However, when I migrated the same code to S7-1200. The SEND_C works. The TRCV_C does not work. I discovered that the connection ID must be same in order for it to work. Since the TRCV_C with a TCON within itself, it cannot be configured with the same ID as SEND_C, I replace the TRCV_C with TRCV. In this case, the TRCV uses the same connection ID established by SEND_C.

For this to work, you still need to program a pulse to initiate a send say every second. While not send, enable to TRCV to received.
