Thanh.Hoang Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I have system use S7-1200 CPU1214C with module CM CANOpen to link with Kinco Servo, I installed full HSP and GSD file. But when I upload program from PLC, it show error: the type of module in slot 101 in device s7-1200 station_1 could not be identified offline. Please help me to fix it, thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Could not determine type of module Slave_1 offline.

Most of the time it is not enough to install the latest GSD/GSDML for the device, often it is necessary to install the exact version which was used originally. regards sancruz

This module requires special cfg with other SW so what you really expect now as solution? Describe pls better what you expect as correct solution. Why you want to do that upload?

Uploading over top of an existing project is a very bad idea (my professional opinion). Just change the hardware configuration in the original project and download to the PLC. Uploading to the PG/PC in order to make a hardware change is not appropriate. Just change it in the portal project and download to the PLC. The PLC will distribute the changes to (most) connected modules / devices. Thanh.Hoang I need to upload from machine to modify some steps, but can upload config hardware from it.
