Profibus Communication Processor

Is there a selection guide for this? Or do you have any recommendation? PC is going to be Win10 we are going to run WinCC RT Prof on it.

Rotkäppchen Regular Member Joined: 2/24/2011 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 97 Rating: (9)	Hi, the differences are the type (HARDNET with CP 5623 and SOFTNET with CP 5622) and their supported performance data, see FAQ https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109815705. Please check number of needed connections. I think the CP 5622 is enough because WinCC is supporting only up to 8 connections via Profibus/MPI.
