Trouble Activating TIA Portal License Upgrade V18

Pryjanko Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with license activation. I was using TIA Portal v15, but I bought a new CPU that required v17. I downloaded the TIA Portal v17 21-day trial from Siemens, and I have ordered a license for v18. I purchased the exact following license: ES7822-0AE08-0YE5, SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic V18, upgrade from V11..V17->. The 21 days have passed, and I loaded the license using the License Manager. I launched TIA Portal v17 and it says that there is no license. What did I do wrong, and how can I solve this problem? I can't download the v18 trial from Siemens because I had to confirm my account, and I don't understand what that's about; I had no trouble downloading v17. Sundance00 Posts: 234 Rating: (24)	Hi! You've mentioned that you're not able to download the TRIAL STEP 7 (TIA Portal) V18 version from the Siemens web. Try to download it from this link: TRIAL If you're still not able to download it, maybe the problem is that your Siemens account (if you are registered correctly) hasn't been authorized yet. This procedure gets some days.

Since you wrote that you were able to download V17 in the past, you may have forgotten to renew your authorization. You should have received an email notification before your authorization expired.
