CU 250-S 2-PN IP address reset to 0.0.0.0 after separated from Drive

vishwa2972 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear ALL We are using G120 Drive(PM240 and CU 250 s 2 PN) For wire drawing application. When we remove faulty PM and switching only CU alone(24V supply is provided ) with other healthy drives in Network,we observed The cu s IP address is reset to 0.0.0.0. Please suggest us to over come this problem.and also let me know for additional information. Thanks and Regards Vishwanath

It is handled dynamic. The device name is important (p61000) and the drive gets his IP address according to the device name by the PLC.

vishwa2972 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello In our case the device name is also reset to default value. The following trails are done at factory. 1.CU unit is connected to PM.3 phase power supply provided to PM and 24 V supply to CU. 2.Assigned CU IP address and device name through starter.then Downloaded the project. 3. Switched off both power supply and removed CU .Powered only CU by 24V supply and checked it does not retains IP address and Device name. Please suggest us to resolve this issue. Thanks Vishwanathaiah

Than connect online and on IP interface configuration tab (under Communication - Commisioning interface) you can enter all interface parameters and by selecting Activation and save configuration in last row finish interface setting.Than perform Copy RAM to ROM before restart of the drive.
