In TIA the field for entering the password is not displayed

Sia1373 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi,I have a problem with openinig locked FB,FC or OBs in the new version of TIA,I have the password but TIA in new version, dosen't Show the order boxes fo intering password, instead of that showing the below Comment. But it should be possible to delete the know how protection also -after- the library/project was upgraded. But you definately need the password to delete the kh-protection. If you receivce this message after project upgrade: delete the existing know how protection (also in upgraded project/password needed) compile the block set up the know how protection again in the new version I think this should be possible without having access to the original version. Have a look at this FAQ, its also described at the end of the video. How do you open, edit and upgrade global libraries in the TIA Portal? regards sancruz

If you know the password, you can unprotect it from the corrent ne Tia version. I don't know how is translated the command in your langague, but you find in the block contestual menu an option for "remove protection". Attachment 2023-11-07 20_07_18-Window.png (377 Downloads)
