PLC SIM Advanced 2.0 SP1

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hi, Have been trying to install PLC SIM Advanced 2.0 SP1 from the link in Siemens site. Running into problems in the midst of installation. In fact one of the prerequisites is to install WinPcap 4.1.3 before going ahead with PLC SIM Advance and it says that WinPcap can be downloaded from DVD "Support" folder. Since we are installing from the link and not from DVD, its hard to find WinPcap installation anywhere on Siemens site. So the only possible thing to download WinPcap is from winpcap.org/install but it warns about DLL hijacking. Some can help me with this please. Should I still install from winpcap.org site and go ahead with PLC Sim Adv? Will this make my system vulnerable to virus attack? Cheers Attachment PLC Sim adv.png (721 Downloads)
