How do you make faceplate buttons work with udt in project library.

I'm new to this and cant find anything. Im trying to implement leds to show the status of it loading and then work complete.

I'm not sure what you want to ask us about. So maybe you should describe it in more detail.

However, you might find the answer in Denilson Pegaia's posts at "WinCC Unified – TIP’s for Faceplate".

Hello,

in the Faceplate Interface you have for example defined your Var_UDT of type UDT_type.

UDT_Type has 2 variables bool: MotorOn and MotorOff

then in the faceplate you create a button for start and then write in the button click or Push:

 Tags('Var_UDT.MotorOn').Write(true)

 Don't forget to link the faceplate container with the PLC/HMI variable of type UDT_type
