I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently facing a persistent issue with the network setup in my industrial environment and could use some expert advice to troubleshoot and resolve it.

Network Configuration:

• KUKA KRC4 controller connected to SCALANCE XB008 unmanaged switch via X66 KUKA Line Interface.
• Siemens S1200 Safety PLC connected to the same switch.
• Server connected to the switch for controlling the KUKA robot via RoboDK and handling data communication with the PLC.
• ProfiSafe used for communication between the Safety PLC and KRC4.

Problem:Every time I come to work, I find that the ProfiSafe connection between the KRC4 and the Safety PLC has dropped. The errors I encounter are:

1. IO device failure - Watchdog time expired
2. Unacceptable configuration difference

The workaround currently is to either power cycle the PLC or perform a memory reset, but this is not a sustainable solution.

Seeking Solutions:I am reaching out to the community for insights, suggestions, and potential solutions to address this connectivity issue. Has anyone encountered a similar problem in their setups? Are there specific troubleshooting steps I should take? Any recommendations for optimizing the network configuration to ensure a stable and reliable connection?
