Hi,

I am building a temperature controller, am using a Logo, Analogue Output Module & Possibly a AM2 RTD.

So what I need is Output at 10V Until the temperature gets to within 5 degrees of the set point which will be 4 Degrees (Adjustable) then needs to vary from 10 down to 0. Then have a 2 degrees hysteresis. Also needs to operate Output 1 as the run signal to the device it is controlling. Temp range is 0-30 Degrees. Do I have to use a AM2 RTD? Can I use a 10kNTC?

Also the screen needs to display set point and current temperature, maybe a bar too?

Please help, any input much appreciated.

Ok will go with a PT1000 and a AM2 RTD

Basically it is a temperature controller with operates between 4 degrees and 6 degrees. Example the product starts at 25 degrees, the chiller runs until it gets to 4 degrees then turns off. Once it warms up to 6 degrees it turns back on.

The Analogue output needs to be 10v output up until 5 degrees away from the set point, so in this case it is 10v until the chiller cools the product down to 9 degrees at this point it varies down to 0 once the chiller reaches 4 degrees.

Basically runs the chiller full speed and then once it is within 5 degrees of set point starts reducing the speed right up until it turns off.

Hope this makes sense.

Just an update, hardware turned up today. Program works perfect.
