So I am currently doing a OPC UA project.

The PLC in question is a 1517-3 (FW 2.9), and it acts as a client.

We get a stable OPC connection with a status of 16#7000, and a corresponding connection handle.

The problem occurs in our opcUaDiagnostics. There we see a status of 16#8733(Error in the status list after registration of method list.),

And a subfunctionstatus of 16#8033_0000 (The syntax of the node id is not valid.)

We suspect that the error is the way TIA perceives NodeID’s. As seen by the image attached, the nodeid in TIA is the full http:// address of our namespace, whereas in UAExpert it is “just” registered as ns=2;s=1.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where the problem might occur, or how to change the nodeid to ns=2 etc.?

PS. I am aware that the opc username is different in the picture attached, that is because both users are connected at the same time.
