Is there a way to supress tons of alarms after download to the hmi?

Is there a way to disable acknowlegment for alarms ? I tried modifying alarm class from single acknowledgment to no acknowledgment expecting alarms which are not active to disapear but they stay on the hmi. Any tips on that please Regards
